Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy
You have access to this information several times BEFORE you book and you agree to the below terms and conditions when you book.
All Cancellations/Refunds carry $10 administration fee.

In Home Sessions
24 hours notice - VIA TEXT OR PH CALL ONLY is required to cancel/reschedule a private session booking or a fee of $40 shall be incurred. This includes any changes to your appointment due to COVID !
If a session is booked manually, the same terms and conditions apply.
No refunds or transfers are given if you entered your personal details incorrectly upon booking. 

If you book a package deal and do not pay the cancellation or reschedule fee, you may forfeit your appointment.
Packages EXPIRE 1 year from payment date.

Puppy Socialisation Classes
There is a $15 cancellation fee for Puppy Socialisation classes, if cancelled within 5 days or less of the session commencing. There are no transfers. There are no refunds if your puppy is too old to attend and you havent read the information on our Puppy Socialisation page.

Group Sessions including Seminars
48 hours notice is required to cancel prior to a group Obedience,  Puppyschool or session commencing or a fee of $50 shall be incurred for obedience and $30 for puppyschool.

No refunds or transfers are given if you book and your dog is too old/young to attend a class. The age limits are clearly listed on the various pages.
No refunds or transfers are given for not reading the terms and conditions. The website contains numerous reminders and prompts,  requesting you read them and agree to them prior to booking, when you go to book you will be asked if you have read and agreed to them, and after booking via your confirmation email. If a session is booked manually, the same terms and conditions apply.
No refunds or transfers are given after a course commences.
No refunds or transfers are given if you didnt realise you have other appointments.

If you have paid for an Obedience or Puppyschool class or session and cancel it yourself, please get in touch with us for a refund or further action.
Refunds are not automatically generated in the system.

Weather interruptions 
A session may be cancelled at the trainer's discretion. All participants will be notified via text ASAP - before class commences.
This will mean your weekly session is postponed/extended to the following week.

Of course you can ring us prior to registering if you have any questions.

We DO NOT offer refunds or transfers for course extensions due to bad weather or any other legitimate reason / isolation / missing a session / excessive barking in class that  cannot be managed and may make it difficult for the other participants to hear or learn / forgetting a session is on / not checking course dates / not reading the terms and conditions / realising you are too busy to attend / bad traffic / not agreeing to or reading the age requirements for classes / after a course commences / not contacting us prior to booking if you are unsure if your dog is ok around other dogs. If you miss a session - our trainers are reasonable and if you stay in touch with us, we will of course, endeavour to catch you up at your next allocated session.


If one of our trainers is found covid positive or needs time off for any reason, and we cannot arrange a replacement trainer, the course will be extended/postponed. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS WHEN BOOKING ! It is rare but life happens !

If you have any questions in regards to the Terms and Conditions, contact us PRIOR to booking.

You are responsible for your dog at all times.
A lead must be on your dog at all times.
You must be holding the lead at all times.
Dogs must be fully vaccinated in order to attend Obedience.
Do not allow your dog to roam freely and approach other dogs and owners whilst in training.
You are responsible for any damage caused by yourself or your dog to a person or property.
If you have registered 2 or more dogs for a group training session, you must have a handler for each dog.
Please DO NOT allow your puppy to be on the ground when you are walking to a puppy preschool or socialization venue.
Dogs that bark excessively may need to be removed from class out of respect for local residents in the area and other class participants, but we will try to work with you in class to avoid this.
We do not allow reactive dogs in our courses.

You accept all responsibility of possible risk of injury and or damage to yourself, your dog and any others that accompany you to a training session run by Dog Bizness.

All information you give to Dog Bizness before a session, in regards to your dog and its behaviour around other dogs and people and vaccination status, should be honest and accurate. If your dog poses a risk to others, is unwell or makes others feel uncomfortable, you may be asked to leave the class. Any minors / children attending a session must be accompanied by an adult and must not disrupt the class.

Session cancellation / rescheduling by Dog Bizness
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session at any time. If weather is extreme we may cancel a session as a safety precaution for you and your dog. The session will be rescheduled. This includes courses. Weather interruptions are inevitable. We do not provide refunds for class extensions as our contingency plan is outlined in the terms and conditions which you agreed to upon booking.

Puppies attending our puppy preschool or other sessions must have first vaccination and be in good health. Dogs attending our obedience  courses or other sessions must be fully vaccinated and in good health.

Free training
Occasionally some of our training sessions are at no charge. The same terms and conditions apply to these sessions. 

All participants in our group courses receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. This certificate is a representation of attendance only.
Photos / Media
We take photos of our classes and sessions for social media. These photos remain the property of Dog Bizness. If you do not wish to be photographed please tell us PRIOR to your session.
Correspondence / communications
Upon registering for a course or class, you will be sent a confirmation email with address etc.  If you do not receive it,  please check your spam. You will also receive a welcome text message sometime before the course commencement date. Please ensure your details are entered correctly in the system or you will not receive our communications.
